Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by A (Alan) Nicholson.

Comments: Soil is sand over clay from 18 inches to 2 feet in depth, has a big capacity to accept water. Rainfall is 27 inches per annum. Grade line was not used on bottom line as we could not get past deep and wide sand seam where we would have lost most if not all the water regardless of grade.

This document is part of the WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Land Treatment Society Incorporated) Collection.
