Summary
Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by J (Jim) Sorgiovanni.
Comments: All banks have sheet rock sections. Soil types vary grey clay to decomposed granite, clay mix. Shallow rock to be used as vehicle passes. Barriers vary 40 centimetres to 1 metre deep. Banks to be 0.9 to 1.2 metres according to topsoil depth. Blocks at each end of sealed sections and rocks and soil changes where possible. Bank capacity 4000 to 5000 cubic metres per kilometre to try and hold 50 to 75 millimetre rainfall.
