Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by WM (Mac) Forsyth.

Comments: Hillside site leaching on hillside — barley grass — waterlogged flats. Grade line picks up overflow from sand dam. Grade is 1 centimetre per 30 metres. Use 2 inch poly pipe to keep dry. Picks up overflow and seep from saline dam in timber, recoverable by pumping towards end of season (autumn). Free end of line to creek. Will continue system at later date. Push to 1 metre depth.
