Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by J (Jim) Sorgiovanni.

Comments: Topsoil badly degraded, further bank may have to be constructed between top and second bank. At present large grader bank controlling surface runoff. Main objective this year is to prevent further gullies developing. Banks constructed to a depth of 0.9 metre, capacity to hold approximately 4000 metres. Blocks at soil change or 100 metres at each side of throughflow. Machine passes each end of bank, ute passes 500 metres or as required by farmer but not on throughflows. Banks to hold 50 millilitres rain, overflow on west in bush.
