Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by D (Des) Moir.

Comments: Map 1. South Barricks. Back in the 1960's this block grew a 10 bag wheat crop and now is very badly waterlogged with a lot of salt seams running from south to north and west to north about 8 to 4 feet under surface badly needs bank and has sealing problems. A class surveys needed. Red grade lines. A dam could be put in on west side of hill, fresh water 4 to 7 feet down. Topsoil depth ranges from 2 to 4 inches in depth, grey clay to sand. Possible site for dam near soak.
