Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by GF (Gavin) Drew.

Comments: Aim — to cut off water feeding salt scald quickly approaching house. Requirement — an interceptor bank of approximately 2 kilometres as shown in plan is required to prevent the catchment water from getting into the salt scald and increasing further deterioration. The interceptor must be plastic lined down to impervious layer, average depth of approximately 1.5 metres. Fresh water will be put into the creek, natural drainage line. The drain itself will need to have a big capacity (approximately 2.5 metres wide and 4.5 metres deep) to handle the water from such a big catchment as no other work has been done above. The priority is to protect the house from encroaching salt.
