Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by R (Richard) Hocking.

Comments: Paddock number 1 very straight forward, clay only 2 feet down on gimlet country, ironstone on wodjil country about 2 feet 6 inches to 3 feet down. Banks will need buttressing on creek line. Paddock number 2 open ended level bank will serve as both feed for large dam plus overflow. Bank is 1 kilometre long. Short grade bank replacing Agriculture Department bank has fall of 2 centimetres in 30 metres.
