Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by BJ (Crash) Edwards.

Avon Location 18568.

Comments: These banks are meant to link up with and compliment existing work. Number 1 bank is linked to the overflow of the dam and is of much greater depth and height than normal, it terminates in an area of very porous sand and gravel. Its total capacity plus the dam will be in the order of 15,000 to 20,000 cubic metres in the very unlikely event of it becoming full. It is believed it will be absorbed into the sand and gravel on the west end.

This document is part of the WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Land Treatment Society Incorporated) Collection.
