Abstract
Aerobic fitness is important for tennis players which enables them to generate power repeatedly for explosive stroke production and rapid court movements during extended matches (Lees, 2003). Currently a variety of test procedures are used to evaluate the exercise capacity of tennis players and prescribe the appropriate on-court training intensity. This evaluation involves laboratory and field tests.
