Abstract
Introduction. – The aim of this study was to compare the efficiency of three training methods (“running”, “pliometricé”, “tennis”) on performance improvement in a specific time-to-exhaustion test.
Fact synthesis. – Pliometric training induces a significant increase of running and jumping abilities related to stretch-shortening cycle optimization.
Conclusion. – Considering that tennis training did not induce a significant improvement in running and pliometric skills, complementary sessions of velocity, endurance run and pliometric exercises appear to be necessary.
