Summary

Dr Alexander (Alex) N. Main with the inauguration granite obelisk located in Bush Court at Murdoch University. The inauguration of Murdoch University on 17 September 1974 was marked by the Governor General Sir John Kerr setting in place a central survey mark disc made of granite from the birthplace of Sir Walter Murdoch in Rosehearty, Scotland.
