This collection provides an on-line archive of interviews with contemporary Balinese describing their lives and their views on culture and change in their society in the twentieth century.

Notes:	The collection contains primarily transcriptions of interviews which can be keyword searched. Interviews are listed in alphabetical order and are in Balinese or Indonesian languages. Also contains one audio file (89MB). Because of stipulations set by some of the interview subjects, access to the site is restricted. Access can be obtained through registration and a written undertaking to observe the restrictions set out in the registration form. Registered members will be provided with a password which will be updated periodically. The password will automatically be forwarded to the e-mail addresses provided by all those on the registration list.
