Abstract
Significant changes over the period 2006-2008 to the income support eligibility requirements for single resident parents and to the calculation of child support payments - economic effect of the reforms - argument that single resident parents fulfilling basic work requirements under the reforms will be financially worse off than previously - implications for women and children - impact on child care.
