Abstract
One hundred and thirty delegates from twenty-four countries met in Northumberland toward the end of 1995 to discuss performance measurement in libraries and information services. They were treated to a wide-ranging survey of the field. These proceedings record the six keynote papers, twenty-eight seminar papers, and six poster sessions presented to the conference.
