Abstract

A study was undertaken of the invertebrate fauna present in four wetlands at the Perth Airport, to provide information on ecosystem condition of these systems and to assist in their management. The wetlands studied were Munday Swamp, Northern Wetland, Runway Swamp, and a Constructed Wetland. Specific aims of this study were to provide a 'snapshot' of physico-chemical condition and information on the macroinvertebrate communities of these wetlands.
