Elemental analysis of seagrass and sediment

Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb, Mn, Ni, Co, Al, P and S have been analyzed by ICP-AES. The levels of elements are compared between the sea sediment and seagrass. Fe is the highest metal found in both sea sediment and seagrass. Considerable levels of Al, Mn, P and S are also found in both. The levels of the elements analyzed can be divided into three catagories: elements that are higher in sediment than seagrass, elements that are equal in both and elements that are lower in sediment than seagrass.
