Abstract
The fact that the Internet is attracting so much attention and that more and more people are using it indicates a huge consumer market. This serves as a strong impetus for businesses to try to benefit from it. This study investigated the use of the Internet by small to medium enterprises in Singapore. It reposts on the nature of usage of the Internet, the benefits associated with using the Internet for business and explores the role of business planning, Internet planning and resourcing in the success of Internet use.
