Abstract

Participatory video production has been acclaimed as a more democratic production method that allows the shifting power positions within the production environment. My return to Africa and Tanzania in particular has prompted this introspection in the efficacy and ethics of producing in that mode. The presentation will take the form of a visual monologue.
