Abstract
One of the ultimate questions looming on the horizon concerns how consumers will respond to various forms of t-commerce. That is the focus of "Consumer T-Commerce Research." It reveals results of t-commerce already deployed in the United Kingdom, and includes a series of recommendations from the Interactive Television Research Institute on how to effectively reach consumers. The Itri, located in Australia, has done extensive research into the public's appetite for ITV by putting consumers in mock living-room settings and testing their responses to various interactive TV applications. Authored by Itri's director, Duane Varan, this volume provides ideas on how to troubleshoot t-commerce problems and how to develop appealing services.
