Abstract

We live in an age of penis augmentation, by surgery and fantasy. It is difficult to decline the penis, so difficult that even Latinists seem confused about how to pluralize it, while acknowledging the need to do so. Because this age is simultaneously concerned with the penis as an artifact of meaning, law, and money, all those discourses must be assembled and brought together if we are to understand this penile artifact's trajectory…
