Abstract
Is it possible to know the law?
This basic question contains assumptions about the politics of different knowledges of different laws. In this essay I examine some of these assumptions in answering that it is not possible to know the law, at least not by way of a project connecting Knowledge and the Law. I argue that the best way to tackle this question is to consider different knowledges of different laws as particular operations. These operations may be connected to one another, but they are not necessarily connected, there is no grand Knowledge project which connects them.
