Abstract
Organisations rely heavily on user developed applications (UDAs) to support organisational decision making, but for the most part the satisfaction of the user developer is the sole indicator of application success This study investigated the relationship between system quality and user satisfaction in the UDA domains The results of the study indicate that although a positive relationship existed between system quality and user satisfaction when the user of the application was not the developer, that relationship was not present when the user was also the developer. Possible implications of these findings are discussed.
