Due to the overflow of information available for mobile phone users, it is sometimes difficult for mobile users to handle the vast amount of information flowing to them. Thus the information which call be retrieved from the device is enormous. The search for the most relevant information according to the user’s need seems to be difficult. This could be one of the drawback factors for mobile phone users. Consequently, if the information can be arranged properly and personalized content can be delivered, it can facilitate the use of mobile internet easily. This empirical study aims to find the factors which influence the perceived content personalization on mobile devices. This empirical study uses questionnaire to examine the usage behaviour from mobile phone users. The research conducts surveys based on demographic factors looking at the delivering of the importance and up-to-date of information to the mobile users. In addition, the time of the day for using the variety of information is also studied in the survey. The survey results show what kind of content on mobile internet are of interest to most mobile phone users. The results also show the factors that influence the user s expectation when using mobile internet.
