Treatment of sewage from isolated dwellings

Ho, G. and Mathew, K. (1995) Treatment of sewage from isolated dwellings. Civil Engineering/Siviele Ingenieurswese, 3 (12). pp. 17-21.

Abstract

Small, isolated communities require special considerations in the treatment and disposal of sewage. There are now a variety of options for treatment, disposal and re-use. Such systems can produce an effluent equal to or better than a conventional treatment plant. This article looks at some of the options.
