Abstract
Using the tenets of cooperative and collaborative learning, a framework is developed for reflective e-learning. Students studying in different modes and locations are connected with group activities which require a cycle of interpretation, evaluation and reflection. A case study of a course using WebCT as a learning environment is described. Key pedagogical features of the course are online seminars and an online team project. Both features are integrated with course assessment, course content, university-defined graduate attributes as well as encouraging reflective learning.
